Ross Stewart and his junior Te Aroha partner Rochelle Van Heuven turned in a stunning performance today at the Putaruru Open 8B tournament.

The pair played outstandingly to take the runner up slot ahead of many strong pairings. A creditable 54.36% in the morning was followed up with a superb 64.20% in the afternoon. They finished just a fraction off the top spot taken by Aucklands Alan Dormer and Anthony Hopkins. In joint third place were a Kalma collection with Henk and Hermanna Kalma, and Anna Kalma and Michael Neels sharing the spoils.
