Jane StearnsJane StearnsTe Aroha Bridge Club announced that Jane Stearns, one of the world famous in New Zealand Bridge Babes, will be supporting the Te Aroha Bridge Club in 2013. Jane will be tutoring lessons for beginners next year with her own brand of enthusiasm that has seen local Cambridge and Te Awamutu clubs benefit from increased membership numbers in recent years. "I just love bridge and I love Te Aroha", said Jane. "One of these days I would like to retire here, so it is in my own interests to make sure there are plenty of people about that I will be able to play bridge with! The one thing I know about the Te Aroha club members is that they are enthusiastic about their bridge. That is all I need to know. If members are enthusiastic, a club can thrive. I am looking forward to spending time with them next year and bringing some VAVAVOOM to their club." With 29 keen beginners already signed up for lessons starting next May its makeover and rejuvenation is already underway.
